A case reference confirms that the enquiry was recorded. It is not proof that a refund, repair, access request or complaint has been approved.

Update the record held by each service that uses those details. A civil registry change may support the update, but utilities, parking, employment and other accounts do not all change automatically.

Provide the old details, new details and effective date. Changing a correspondence address does not transfer a service, alter residence or redirect restricted documents without the required authority.

Only when the reviewing office issues written interim authority. Filing a review request does not automatically extend a visitor permit, residence determination or departure date.

The Request for Administrative Review of a Passage Decision (Form ITA/CP-055) records the disputed decision and the requested correction. The acknowledgement will state whether the existing conditions remain in force, whether interim conditions apply or whether departure is still required while the review proceeds.

Yes, when the decree or its implementation notice says that the revised rule applies to pending matters or existing instruments. Each notice must identify its effective date, the applications affected and any transition arrangements.

Do not assume that an older application will be assessed under the rules in force when it was filed, or that every existing permit has been cancelled. The issuing office must apply the decree as written and provide a revised decision where the holder's conditions change.

Yes. A traveller may request a Checkpoint Movement Record Extract (ITA/CP-042) from the office responsible for the recorded checkpoint. The extract identifies the person, checkpoint, direction of travel, date and the document accepted for movement.

The extract proves what the Bridge checkpoint recorded. It does not determine how another country, sector or agency will classify that movement, and it does not replace a passport stamp or another authority's departure record.

No. Residence is determined by the receiving sector. Before moving, the resident must close or update the former household record and obtain the new sector's decision and accommodation confirmation.

A previous residence record may support identity, address history and tax reconciliation, but it does not compel admission. Household goods and vehicles remain subject to the movement and customs rules that apply along the route.

No. An appointment belongs to the person named in it. It may be submitted as supporting evidence in a linked household, dependant or reunification application, but the other partner requires a separate decision.

The sector will assess the household relationship, accommodation and the conditions of the appointment under its own rules. Until that decision is issued, the other partner must continue to comply with the permit already held and may not use the employee's workplace pass.

Declare restricted, controlled or dutiable goods and any item requested by the receiving sector's customs notice. Ordinary used household effects are treated separately from commercial cargo, but they may still be inspected and recorded.

The Personal Effects Declaration (ITA/CU-011) identifies the travellers, route and declared property. Acceptance at one checkpoint does not prevent a later inspection or remove a lawful local restriction in another sector.

Freight must travel under an Intersector Freight Manifest (ITA/CU-038) identifying the consignor, consignee, route, cargo description, seals and responsible carrier. Each receiving checkpoint may verify the manifest and add the local customs or safety schedule required for that sector.

A cleared seal confirms the condition recorded at inspection; it does not exempt the load from later checks. Changes of vehicle, route, custody or cargo condition must be entered before the movement continues.
