Guidance for life and work across the corridor. Select a question to consult the answer issued by the public information desk.
Yes, subject to terminal customs, vehicle identity, safety and route requirements. The receiving sector may also require local registration or a temporary vehicle record before the vehicle leaves the terminal area.
Continental registration can support the application but does not guarantee local parking or residential use. Goods carried inside the vehicle are assessed separately where a declaration is required.
The receiving sector's rules determine whether the existing registration may remain, must be endorsed or must be replaced. Long-term residence, commercial use and a permanent parking allocation may each trigger an update.
The former record should not be closed until the receiving office confirms what it has accepted. This prevents a vehicle from appearing unregistered between two administrative systems.
Yes. Submit the notice reference, vehicle record and the reason for the dispute to the issuing parking office. Payment and review are separate: the notice will state whether payment is suspended while the review is open.
If the charge is cancelled after payment, the office will issue a refund determination. A dispute does not preserve a parking space after its allocation has ended.
Contact the custody office named on the collection notice and provide proof of identity, ownership and authority to remove the vehicle. The office will identify any safety, customs, parking or property condition that must be resolved first.
Release from custody does not restore an expired parking allocation or authorize onward movement. Personal effects may require a separate household release when the vehicle was also used as a home.
Only after the sector approves the equipment, location, structural loading, fire controls and electrical connection. Equipment operating independently from the public supply may still require registration and inspection.
No private source may energize a disconnected network circuit. Exporting power, sharing a supply with another property or storing fuel requires the additional approval applicable to that activity.
Its records are handled separately. Road staff verify the vehicle and its authorization to move; customs staff record the vehicle and carried property; the receiving sector records any approved residential use or site allocation.
The Vehicle and Mobile Dwelling Customs Record (ITA/CU-024) does not close or replace the household declaration. Release of the vehicle after inspection does not guarantee a place to park, permission to live in it or authorization to enter the next sector.
Every sector checkpoint applies global Bridge requirements and the lawful entry, customs, safety and security rules of the receiving sector. The outgoing sector may also complete departure, property or record checks within its authority.
A traveller must satisfy each applicable check even when the desks share one facility. If movement is refused, the notice should identify the decision, the issuing authority and the available review route rather than treating all checkpoint functions as one decision.
The checkpoint may refuse onward movement and direct the person, vehicle or consignment to the appropriate holding or return route. The consequence depends on the inspection authority involved and the status of the current permit.
Refusal of one inspection does not authorize staff to alter unrelated records. Any suspension, seizure, penalty or permit action must be recorded by the office that has authority for that measure and must identify the applicable review procedure.
Notify the receiving supervisor through the department's normal reporting channel and retain the checkpoint reference. The supervisor must record whether the employee is delayed, reassigned or unable to report, so the next shift is not left with an assumed arrival.
A checkpoint record explains the interruption but does not amend the roster by itself. If the delay affects accommodation, access or passage conditions, the employee must contact the office responsible for that separate record as well.
Yes. A Route-Limited Transit Permit (ITA/CP-017) may authorize movement through a named sequence of sectors without extending to the full Bridge. The approved entry point, final checkpoint and intermediate sectors appear on the permit.
Only a route bearing the global corridor authorization mark replaces separate admission documents for the sectors listed. Local residence, employment, parking and security requirements remain separate, and any sector outside the printed itinerary requires its own decision.
