Returning workshop staff will receive a changes-only briefing.

The desk will compare retained assessments with the proposed equipment and duties. Briefings cover changed procedures and competence requiring a new demonstration. Unchanged training need not be repeated solely because the appointment is new.

The route includes people returning after caring responsibilities, other employment or time outside the sector. It does not presume that earlier qualification covers every task. The workshop must provide the assessed duties rather than use a returner's experience to cover an unrelated vacancy.
