School collection lists will accept a second authorised adult.
Households working variable shifts may name an alternative adult for collection when the usual carer is held at a maintenance handover.
The learning desk will accept amended collection lists from 18 March 2140. Both adults must be identified on the household's school record. Staff will contact the named alternative if the first collector reports a delay; a supervisor's message alone cannot nominate someone who is absent from the list.
The arrangement also covers children attending the supervised reading period before lessons. Households may request assistance completing the list in their preferred language. The school will keep the child's collection instructions with its own records rather than display working hours on the public attendance board.
