Repairers whose drawers have been renewed under the between-contract storage arrangement may request a statement showing the sequence of reservations. The statement will identify gaps as well as paid periods. It is intended for workers reconciling receipts across several employers or collecting equipment after an extended absence.
The drawer scheme began in 2078, but a current reservation does not establish that the present holder owned every earlier item recorded under the same drawer number. Where a drawer changed hands, the inventory at transfer remains the relevant record. Clerks will attach a disputed entry for review rather than certifying an uninterrupted ownership history.
