Canteen induction sessions will appear on the appointment sheet.
New kitchen workers will receive paid induction hours and meal arrangements in writing before their first service session.
The canteen must identify handling instruction, supervised preparation and the first service assignment. Workers should not attend an unrecorded trial shift to discover whether paid work will follow. Assessment remains within the stated induction arrangement.
More people are needed for early preparation and late clearing. Applicants may state which sessions they can accept. Meals for scheduled instruction will be confirmed alongside the hours so that the cost of attending is visible before arrangements are made at home.
