Daytime rest bookings gain a protected cleaning interval.
Rooms used by overnight maintenance staff will be cleaned between bookings rather than during the first hour of a daytime allocation.
The revised roster starts on 11 February 2139. Reception staff will leave a cleaning interval between successive bookings and indicate the available entry time on each slip. Crews finishing early may wait in the screened sitting area; cleaners are not required to release an unfinished room.
The change follows a review of interrupted daytime rest. A room's normal evening availability does not imply that it is vacant during daylight hours. Supervisors arranging a late handover should advise reception before extending a crew's booking, so that the next occupants can be assigned another room.
