Neighbourhood instruments enter a shared lending register.
The music room will accept donated instruments for supervised lending, while keeping family loans separate from the permanent collection.
Residents may bring instruments to the music room on the first two Saturdays of October 2130. The receiving sheet distinguishes a donation from a loan and records any condition on use. Instruments awaiting repair will be labelled before they are placed with the playable collection.
Borrowers may reserve a practice period without joining an ensemble. The attendants will keep a small stock available for introductory lessons so that a household does not need to buy an instrument before a child has tried it. A family loan cannot be sold to meet the room's repair costs, even if its owner no longer lives in the sector.
