Early childcare places will follow the confirmed shift roster.
A limited early opening will support households whose new maintenance assignments begin before the ordinary childcare session.
For the intake starting on 9 September 2125, reception will state which early sessions can be covered before a household accepts the arrangement. Each child must be named on the booking. The maintenance and childcare desks will review the trial after six weeks.
The trial follows appointments declined because households could not cover the first hour of duty. Children remain with the childcare team; a supervisor cannot move the session earlier simply by changing a parent's shift without notice.
