Laundry receipts will identify the returning shift.
The service laundry will group collection receipts by shift handover to reduce queues and prevent equipment being issued to the wrong crew.
Receipts issued from 5 February 2124 will show the expected collection handover as well as the garment count. Crews working across two handovers may nominate a collector in their dispatch book. The collector must check the protective items before signing; ordinary clothing will remain in a separate bundle.
Unmarked garments have delayed the return of several otherwise complete loads. The laundry can attach a washable household mark at the owner's request, but it will not replace an equipment inspection label. A freshly cleaned item that has been withdrawn from service must still be returned to the inspection desk.
