Appointment desks must confirm the first accommodation night.
Workers whose appointment includes accommodation will receive a dated reception reference before being instructed to report for duty.
The receiving accommodation office must confirm the first available night and where a delayed arrival should report. A room request still awaiting allocation must be described as pending. The appointment desk will attach the confirmation to its instruction to travel.
Accepted appointments have failed to begin because workers arrived before rooms were available. The department must resolve that gap with reception rather than ask the worker to wait in a service corridor. Household members are included only where the allocation explicitly lists them.
