Guidance for life and work across the corridor. Select a question to consult the answer issued by the public information desk.
Work affecting structure, fire boundaries, ventilation, fixed utilities, external surfaces or a registered access route requires approval before it begins. A sector may also require notice for substantial internal alterations in an allocated or leased home.
Painting, movable furniture and minor like-for-like repairs usually follow the household agreement rather than a construction review. Residents should consult the conditions attached to the property before appointing a contractor.
Yes, when the property conditions permit private work and the contractor holds the trade qualifications and access documents required by the sector. The resident remains responsible for providing the approved scope and arranging entry.
A contractor's security pass authorizes access for the recorded job only. It does not approve the design, extend working hours or allow materials to be stored in a public gallery.
The former and new keeper must submit the transfer to the vehicle registry responsible for the current record. The Change of Vehicle Keeper Declaration (ITA/VR-019) identifies the parties, vehicle and effective handover.
Keys, payment and physical possession do not update the register by themselves. Outstanding custody, finance, customs or safety restrictions remain attached until the responsible office closes them.
Apply to the sector parking office responsible for the intended location. A Long-Stay Parking Allocation (ITA/VR-033) records the vehicle, space, permitted use and any access or charging conditions.
A residential address does not automatically include a parking space, and ownership of a vehicle does not reserve one. Vehicles used as homes require the applicable mobile dwelling and site records as well.
The account holder may request closure at the former address and opening at the new one. Final and initial readings, occupancy dates and any equipment remaining at each property must be recorded.
Charges do not transfer merely because both addresses are in the same sector. A credit on the former account is reconciled before it is refunded or applied according to the sector utility's published terms.
A new resident must declare the occupied address or approved mobile dwelling allocation, the people ordinarily living there and any local employment or taxable activity required by the sector register. Later changes must be reported to the office named in the residence determination.
For an occupied vehicle, use the Mobile Dwelling Declaration (ITA/CR-009) in addition to the vehicle record. A declaration keeps the household register current; it does not establish ownership of the space or authorize access to another sector.
Yes. Employees must report according to the appointment, shift assignment and current duty roster issued by the responsible sector department. Hours can differ between sectors and between services operating in the same terminal.
A Duty Roster and Shift Assignment (ITA/PD-029) records the reporting location, working interval, rest period and responsible supervisor. A verbal exchange between employees does not change the roster until the authorized supervisor records it.
Report it immediately to the issuing security desk and stop using any damaged credential. The desk will record a Lost or Damaged Pass Report (ITA/SC-027), disable the missing credential where possible and decide whether temporary access is required.
A report is not a replacement pass. Until another credential is issued, the holder must use an approved escort or remain outside the controlled area. Finding the original later does not reactivate it automatically.
Yes, where the receiving sector permits occupied vehicles and the vehicle has an allocation at an approved site. The site reference, intended occupants and period of stay must be declared in the application.
Acceptance as accommodation does not grant residence, parking elsewhere or onward passage. The vehicle must continue to meet the sector's road, sanitation, utility and site rules for the duration of the allocation.
A valid Express Transit Visa (ITA/CP-004) permits travel through the sectors named by the global corridor itinerary, from the recorded point of entry to the approved terminal of departure. It is issued by the Bridge Passage Authority rather than by an individual sector.
The visa authorizes transit only. It does not grant residence, employment or unrestricted access to terminals, service galleries or other controlled areas. Travellers must remain on the approved route and comply with checkpoint instructions throughout the crossing.
